Book Summarizer
Overview
Book Summarizer is a GPT focused on condensing literary works into comprehensive, chapter-by-chapter summaries. It is designed to present critical plot developments, significant character arcs, and overarching themes within the book, thus eliminating the need to read the entire publication while still deriving key content and context.
Drawing on extensive literary knowledge, the Book Summarizer can distill complex narratives and themes, meticulously dissecting them to produce concise summaries.
To acquire a book summary, users simply issue a command, specifying the book title and author. Requests can range from classic literature such as 'Fight Club' by Chuck Palahniuk to modern bestsellers like 'The Da Vinci Code' by Dan Brown.
Book Summarizer also offers succinct overviews for those who require a swift understanding of a novel's essence or merely wish to refresh their memory regarding previous readings.
It is particularly useful for professional reviewers, literature enthusiasts, students and educators, or anyone with a keen interest in gaining a quick, holistic understanding of various books without the need to devote extensive reading hours.

Alexandru Bostina๐ ๏ธ 2 tools ๐ 6,256 karmaMay 5, 2025It seems to be working fine right now. Maybe try again and double check if youโre using the bookโs original or most recognized title. That might make a difference. -

14,177194Released 2y agoFrom $5I paid 10.00 and on the same day I cancelled my subscription. After providing me with a summary of a specific book, it also gives me the 10 main quotes from the book. I purchased the book from Kindle, so I tried to match the quotes given by booknotes with the Kindle book, and none of the quotes are on the book. In other words, booknotes created the quotes... If the quotes are fabricated by AI, what else in the summary is also not accurate? I still want to give this site the benefit that they will get it right, but right now, I cannot recommend it as a reliable tool.
