**Wikipedia Article Title: Wikipedia Editing Guidelines** **Introduction** Wikipedia is an online, multilingual, free-content encyclopedia project supported by the Wikimedia Foundation. Its community of editors collaborates to create and maintain articles on a wide range of topics. To ensure the quality and reliability of information, Wikipedia has established specific editing guidelines that all contributors are encouraged to follow. **Core Principles** 1. **Neutral Point of View (NPOV):** Articles should present information in a neutral manner, avoiding bias and representing a variety of perspectives. Editors must strive to present facts and arguments in a balanced way. 2. **Verifiability:** Information in Wikipedia articles must be verifiable by reliable, published sources. Editors should provide citations to reputable sources to support their contributions. 3. **No Original Research:** Wikipedia does not publish original thought or research. All content must be based on previously published material, and editors should not introduce new analyses or interpretations. 4. **Consensus Building:** Decisions on content and policies are made through discussion and consensus among the editing community. Editors are encouraged to engage in constructive dialogue to resolve disputes. **Editing Practices** 1. **Citing Sources:** Whenever possible, editors should provide inline citations to reliable sources to back up the information they add to articles. This helps ensure the accuracy and credibility of the content. 2. **Avoiding Vandalism:** Vandalism, which includes the addition of inappropriate or false information, is strictly prohibited. Editors should revert any instances of vandalism and report the incident to the community. 3. **Respectful Communication:** Editors are expected to communicate respectfully with one another, even when disagreeing. Personal attacks, harassment, and incivility are not tolerated. 4. **Continuous Improvement:** Wikipedia encourages continuous improvement of articles. Editors are encouraged to update and refine content to reflect the latest, most accurate information available. **Conclusion** By adhering to these guidelines, Wikipedia aims to maintain a high standard of quality and reliability in its content. The collaborative nature of the editing process ensures that articles are continually reviewed and improved, providing readers with trustworthy information on a vast array of topics.

FADE IN: EXT. MAORI VILLAGE - DAY The sun rises over a peaceful coastal village. Thatched whare (houses) dot the landscape. Smoke rises from cooking fires. Suddenly, WHOOSH! A musket ball whizzes past, embedding in a wooden post. WARRIORS charge into view, brandishing muskets and traditional weapons. The village erupts in chaos as women and children flee screaming. In the thick of the battle, TŪHAKA (20s, muscular, face adorned with tā moko tattoos) fights fiercely with a taiaha (staff weapon). He takes down several enemies with graceful but deadly moves. Nearby, Tūhaka's MOTHER (40s) helps evacuate children. She glances proudly at her son as she ushers the young ones to safety. A RIVAL WARRIOR takes aim at Tūhaka with a musket. Tūhaka's mother sees this and leaps in front of her son just as the musket FIRES. TŪHAKA Māmā! No! Tūhaka catches his mother as she falls. Blood spreads across her chest. She touches his face gently. MOTHER (weakly) Be strong, my son. But do not let anger consume you... Her hand falls away as she dies in Tūhaka's arms. His anguished cry echoes across the battlefield. FADE TO BLACK. FADE IN: EXT. MAORI VILLAGE - NIGHT - WEEKS LATER A somber gathering around a central fire. Village ELDERS sit in a circle with Tūhaka. ELDER Your grief has turned to rage, Tūhaka. It poisons your spirit. TŪHAKA (seething) They slaughtered our people. My mother... ELDER And how many mothers have you taken in return? Tūhaka looks away, jaw clenched. ELDER (CONT'D) You must find balance, or risk losing yourself to darkness. We are sending you on a journey. TŪHAKA A journey? While our enemies grow stronger? ELDER A journey to master your mana - your spiritual power. Seek out Waiarangi. She will guide you. Tūhaka stands abruptly, conflicted. He stares into the flames, then nods curtly before stalking off into the night. FADE OUT.
