I don’t believe this is the case at all - Adobe can even charge less with millions of customer database. In our case, we put 3 years in developing Alice as indie makers. Please, make your calculations of how many customer we need to have in order to make this feasible, and also long-term win for us and our customers. You completely miss the point here, and giving a 1* rating because of this is just don’t fair. You would rate Porsche 911 1* because it’s expensive for you, too? :(

Is $149 one-time payment a big amount for a software with lifetime updates? It’s less than what you’ve spent yearly on any AI app. Alice has been made to make you 10x more productive, and we believe this is very reasonable price for this 💪

Thanks for noticing this Tyler, we really liked the idea of getting back to lifetime one-time purchases. Alice is a desktop app and it doesn’t use our cloud resources much, so this should be also feasible for the long run. Please, give Alice a try, you won’t regret it!
