**The Tale of Bob and the Missing Keys**
*Bob wasn’t what you’d call “bright.” In fact, he was the kind of guy who, when told the sky was blue, would look up, squint, and say, “I think you’re wrong. It’s more like a color between blue and purple… like a ‘blurple’.”*
One fine morning, Bob woke up late, which was no surprise because he woke up late every day. He immediately realized he was going to be late for work, so he scrambled around his apartment, hunting for his keys.
“Where did I put them?” Bob muttered to himself, rifling through the couch cushions, checking under the TV, and opening the fridge (just in case someone had moved them there). No keys.
He checked his coat pockets. Nope. Pants pockets? Nada. He even checked the bathroom sink, where he found nothing but a toothbrush and a soap dish, both of which were mysteriously sticky.
*Cue the funny sound effect: a comedic slide whistle as Bob searches frantically!*
Panicking, Bob started pacing back and forth. “What am I going to do?” he groaned. “If I can’t find these keys, I’ll never get to work, and then I’ll get fired, and then I’ll never be able to afford a new TV, and then I’ll be forced to watch shows on my phone, and…”
His thoughts spiraled out of control, but then, just as he was about to give up and start preparing for a life of living in his car, he spotted something shiny under the couch.

He dove toward it, dragging the couch cushion out of the way. It was a quarter.
“Wait… that’s not—” He froze. His eyes widened.
*Dramatic drumroll as he looks around!*
On the coffee table, sitting right in front of him, were his keys. Bob blinked a few times. Then he took a deep breath and muttered, “Okay, maybe I should’ve looked there first.”
*Followed by a funny plop sound effect as he facepalms!*
