## FADE IN:
EXT. APPLE ORCHARD - DAY
Rows of apple trees stretch as far as the eye can see. The leaves rustle gently in the breeze.
SARAH (30s, determined) walks between the trees, examining the apples with a frown. Many are small and blemished.
SARAH
(to herself)
Another disappointing harvest...
She plucks an apple and takes a bite, grimacing at the sour taste.
## CUT TO:
INT. FARMHOUSE KITCHEN - EVENING
Sarah sits at the table, poring over agricultural textbooks and invoices. Her husband MIKE (30s, supportive) enters.
MIKE
Still at it, honey? Come to bed.
SARAH
I can't give up, Mike. This orchard's been in my family for generations. I have to find a way to save it.
MIKE
(sighs)
I know. But working yourself to exhaustion won't help.
Sarah nods reluctantly and follows Mike out.

EXT. ORCHARD - DAY
Sarah sprays pesticides on the trees. She looks conflicted.
SARAH (V.O.)
There has to be a better way...

- She takes soil samples and analyzes them
- She prunes trees and adds compost to the soil
- Months pass, shown through changing seasons

EXT. ORCHARD - DAY (1 YEAR LATER)
Sarah walks through the orchard. The trees look healthier, with vibrant leaves and blossoms.
SARAH
(smiling)
It's working!
## FADE TO:
EXT. ORCHARD - DAY (HARVEST TIME)
Sarah and Mike pick apples. They're larger and more colorful than before.
MIKE
(bites into an apple)
Wow! So much sweeter!
SARAH
(beaming)
We did it, Mike. We saved the orchard.
They embrace, surrounded by abundant, healthy trees.
SARAH (CONT'D)
I finally understood - you can't change the fruit without changing the root. We had to heal the soil, work with nature, not against it.
MIKE
Your family would be proud.
They continue harvesting as the sun sets over the thriving orchard.
