Vast is developing next-generation commercial space stations using an incremental, hardware-rich, low-cost approach. Its flagship Haven-1, the world's first commercial space station, is set to launch in 2027 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9, hosting 4-person crews for 2-week missions. Haven-2, designed to succeed the ISS with 12-person capacity and 510 m³ habitable volume, targets first module operations in 2028. Backed by founder Jed McCaleb and $1B+ in total funding.
