The BirdWeather PUC (Portable Universe Codec) is an AI-powered bioacoustics platform that continuously listens for and identifies over 6,000 bird species worldwide using the BirdNET neural network (a collaboration between Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Chemnitz University of Technology). It features dual MEMS microphones, GPS, environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality, tVOC, CO2, spectral light), a 3-axis accelerometer/magnetometer, and a built-in neural engine.
