Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) represents a level of artificial intelligence that would exceed human intellectual capacity not just quantitatively but qualitatively potentially able to solve problems humans cannot even comprehend. This concept includes the ability to recursively self-improve leading to an intelligence explosion where the system rapidly enhances its own capabilities far beyond human understanding or control.
