About the Role
Perplexity is seeking experienced Machine Learning Engineers to make Perplexity’s answer machine feel like it understands users better than they understand themselves. Different queries require different product experiences, and your job is to infer the true intent of a query and help shape the right form of the answer in a delightful way.
Qualifications
Proven experience with large-scale LLMs and Deep Learning systems.
Strong programming skills; versatility is a plus.
Self-starter with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
Passion for tackling challenging problems.
Minimum of 2 years of working on relevant projects.
Nice-to-have
PhD in Machine Learning or related areas.
Experience building distributed systems.
