About the Role
This role is not about moderation only.
It is about orchestrating relationships, engagement, and value creation inside a growing AI ecosystem.
The Community Manager will act as a bridge between:
local OpenLab leaders
members and partners
content, events, and initiatives
the central OpenLab strategy

Qualifications
Experience as a Community Manager, Community Lead, or similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage diverse audiences (professionals, entrepreneurs, students, companies)
Experience managing online communities (forums, platforms, social networks, events)
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Proactive, empathetic, and people-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
Interest or background in Artificial Intelligence, technology, or innovation
Experience with startup, ecosystem, or education communities
Familiarity with community platforms (Mighty Networks, Discord, Slack, etc.)
Experience organizing or supporting events
Education
No strict degree requirement
Background in communication, marketing, education, technology, or social sciences is a plus
Responsibilities
Onboard and support new members, partners, and regional leaders
Foster engagement through discussions, events, challenges, and initiatives
Coordinate communication between local communities and the central team
Support the organization of online and offline events (meetups, workshops, talks)
Help define community guidelines, rituals, and best practices
Monitor community health metrics (engagement, retention, participation)
Collect feedback and insights to improve community experience
Collaborate with marketing, content, and leadership teams to align messaging
Promote a safe, ethical, and collaborative environment aligned with OpenLab values
