Earth-2 Nowcasting, powered by NVIDIA’s StormScope model, uses generative AI on geostationary satellite and radar imagery to predict storms and hazardous weather 0–6 hours ahead. It produces country- to continent-scale nowcasts at kilometer resolution within minutes, and is reported to be the first AI system to beat traditional physics-based nowcasting on storm dynamics while remaining adaptable wherever satellite coverage is available.
