GENE 26.5

GENE-26.5 is the initial public release in Genesis AI’s GENE family, focused on pushing robotic manipulation toward human-level capability. It is a full-stack robotics system rather than only a model, combining a robotics-native foundation model, human-centric data collection, high-fidelity simulation, dexterous hardware, and low-latency control. Genesis says the model learns across language, vision, proprioception, tactile sensing, and action using flow matching, and can execute diverse autonomous tasks at 1x real-world speed with less than one hour of task-specific robot data for many challenging skills.
New Multimodal Gen 3
Released: May 6, 2026

Overview

GENE-26.5 is Genesis AI’s first robotic foundation model system for general-purpose manipulation. It is built for long-horizon, contact-rich dexterity across real-world tasks such as cooking, lab automation, Rubik’s Cube solving, smoothie making, wire harnessing, and multi-object grasping, using one shared model, hardware platform, data strategy, and control stack.
