HunyuanImage-3.0-Instruct is the instruction-tuned branch of Hunyuan Image 3.0, an 80B-parameter Mixture-of-Experts native multimodal model with about 13B active parameters. It adds chain-of-thought style reasoning and prompt self rewrite before generation, enabling robust image-to-image editing, localized changes and multi-image composition with strong instruction alignment. Released on January 26, 2026 together with a distilled variant, it also powers one-line “p-picture” editing in Tencent’s Yuanbao app.
