Music v2 is ElevenLabs’ second-generation music model, published on 26-05-2026. It improves vocals, instrumentation, arrangement, multilingual support, and controllability across genres, powering ElevenMusic, ElevenAPI, and ElevenCreative. Compared with Music v1, it adds stronger handling of complex vocals and composition, including songs that shift between genres, fast rap or dense lyrics, embedded sound effects, and more coherent full-song structure. It also supports improved inpainting, letting users regenerate a selected section of a track while keeping the rest unchanged, and section-by-section song building for intros, verses, choruses, and longer compositions. ElevenLabs says Music v2 is trained only on licensed data and cleared for commercial use.
