PersonaPlex is a 7B parameter full duplex model that listens and speaks at the same time, avoiding the awkward turn taking of cascaded ASR-LLM-TTS systems. Users define personas via a text prompt plus a voice prompt, and the model maintains that role while handling overlaps, interruptions, backchannels and emotional prosody. Built on the Moshi architecture with Mimi audio codecs and the Helium language backbone, it is trained on a mix of real and synthetic conversations to combine natural speech behavior with strong task following.
