It supports function/tool calling, JSON outputs, streaming, and retrieval grounding, so it slots neatly into agent pipelines and production copilots. Use Haiku when you want responsive UX and cost control for support bots, content drafting, analytics explainers, and repo/code helpers; step up to Sonnet for tougher tasks and Opus for the most demanding workloads. Available via the Anthropic API and major clouds.
