Kanana Nano 2.1B is a compact, efficiency-focused LLM developed by Kakao as part of the Kanana lineup. With a 2.1B parameter scale, it delivers reliable instruction following, everyday reasoning, and conversational fluency while maintaining low memory and compute requirements. This makes it particularly suitable for mobile apps, embedded copilots, or cost-sensitive deployments where larger models like Kanana Flag or Essence would be impractical.
