I am excited about the prospect of immersing myself in this diverse and inclusive city, as it will shape me into a more globally minded individual. As my second choice, I applied to Kookmin University. I wanted to take a moment to share my deep admiration and fascination for Korean culture. As a passionate of Korean culture, I discovered Korea with K-pop and K-drama since 2017. 1 have tried to learn Korean on my own by watching K-drama. However, I realized that it wasn't so helpful to structure my learning. The main motivation behind my wish to study in Korea would be to immerse myself in the language and explore the rich Korean culture. The opportunity to discover South Korea while I am young is truly unique and an unforgettable experience that can only be fully embraced as a student. This holds an immense significance and value to me because I deeply love Korean culture in diverse aspects such as the food, the rich history and traditions, the music and the stunning natural landscapes, like the picturesque mountains and serene temples. As my third choice, I applied to Hacettepe University. Situated in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, which is filled with magnificent landmarks like the Ancient Roman Temple of Augustus and the Ataturk Mausoleum. However, I wanted to share a moment with my profound relationship with Turkey. First of all, since | was 7 years old, I have been watching Turkish series. This immerse me in a captivating culture portrayed in these shows. Through watching these series, I have developed a deep appreciation for the Turkish language and have been able to learn it to a proficient level. Indeed, every year, I go to vacation in Antalya, and I love how I am able to speak and have a conversation with the locals. I am convinced that my language skills will not only enable me to navigate the academic environment at Hacettepe University but also allow me to fully immerse myself in the Turkish culture and connect with fellow students and faculty members. By going every year in Turkey with my family and watching shows, I was able to take a bit of the amazing Turkish culture, including iconic Turkish singers as Ibrahim Tatlises, the delicious sweet Baklava, and the comforting warmth of Turkish tea Lsay).
