Focus assistant using voice detection

I would like to have an (AI?) program that helps you focus and study. At least at home where I can speak out loud, I want it to detect when I haven't spoken for longer than 5 seconds and make some sounds or say something.
It needs to detect which microphone I am currently using and list the microphones so I can choose.

(The truth is a friend of mine made such a program for me a short while ago. What I don't like is the sound I chose is the windows 'chord' sound which gets tiring.)

Thanks a lot.
