ALICE 4
About
A bipedal humanoid robot platform designed for precise, efficient, and durable operation, featuring proprietary linear actuators, embedded AI, and impedance-controlled manipulation for safe human–robot interaction across diverse environments.
Specs
ALICE 4 is a 160 cm tall, ~45 kg bipedal humanoid robot with 41 degrees of freedom, including 12 DoF legs, 14 DoF arms, 12 DoF hands, a 2 DoF head, and a 1 DoF waist. It uses proprietary reducer-less linear actuators enabling quiet, back-drivable, force-based control with low inertia and high energy efficiency. The robot features impedance-controlled manipulation, embedded AI running on an Intel Core i7-1370PE for control and Jetson Orin NX for perception, and is equipped with stereo depth vision, a 6-axis IMU, and custom foot contact sensors for stable bipedal locomotion.
