ALLEX
About
ALLEX is a general-purpose humanoid robot designed to interact with the real world through human-like whole-body force sensing and compliant control, enabling safe and precise interaction with people and environments.
Specs
ALLEX features a 15-DOF compliant robotic hand capable of sensing forces as small as 100 gf, delivering 40 N fingertip force and over 30 kg hook grip, with ≤0.3 mm fingertip repeatability. The robot includes ultra-low-friction, backdrivable arms, gravity-compensated waist, and whole-body force interaction without force sensors. The hand weighs ~700 g and the arm assembly ~5 kg, enabling agile, safe motion while handling more than 3 kg with one hand.
