da Vinci SP
About
A high-performance, single-port robotic surgical system designed to enable robotic-assisted surgery through a single incision or natural orifice, providing enhanced access, precision, and visualization in narrow surgical spaces.
Specs
The da Vinci SP Surgical System is a teleoperated, single-port robotic surgical platform featuring a unique patient cart with a single arm that delivers three multi-jointed, wristed instruments and a fully articulating 3DHD endoscope through one incision. The system provides 360° anatomical access, eliminates external arm collisions, and enables distal triangulation inside the patient’s body. Designed for narrow and alternative access procedures, da Vinci SP allows surgeons to visualize anatomy above, below, and around tissue planes without redocking. The platform is supported by a growing body of clinical evidence, with more than 350 peer-reviewed publications investigating its use.
