Harvey is a small mobile robot designed for use in nursery and greenhouse facilities that can autonomously locate, transport, and organize potted plants both indoors and outdoors.
Specs
Harvey is a wheeled mobile robot capable of operating individually or in teams to transport potted plants with a maximum payload of 10 kg. It travels at speeds up to 7.2 km/h and uses a forward-looking laser range finder, boundary sensors, gyroscope, and wheel encoders for navigation and obstacle detection. The robot includes two drive wheel motors, a manipulator motor, and a gripper motor with 4 degrees of freedom. It runs on an ARM CPU with Linux-based custom software and is powered by two 24-V lithium-ion batteries providing about 4 hours of operation.
