About
MobED is a next-generation mobile robot platform by Hyundai Motor Group featuring an eccentric wheel design and DnL (Drive-and-Lift) module for advanced terrain adaptability. It supports modular top-mounted payloads and is available in two variants: an R&D base (Basic) and a fully autonomous-capable version (Pro).
Specs
Four independent DnL drive wheels with in-wheel motors for steering, power, and posture control. Eccentric wheel axis design for terrain adaptability. Curb climbing up to 20 cm; grade clearance ±10°. MobED Pro equipped with GPS, two 3D LiDAR units, three cameras, eight radar sensors, and an IMU. Path-generation via 2.5D local map. Mounting-rail upper platform for modular top payloads. Redundant sensor safety architecture. Self-charging capability. Wireless touchscreen controller with 3D status display.
