TORO is a humanoid research robot designed as a platform for studying bipedal locomotion, balance, and multi-contact dynamics in human-like environments.
Specs
TORO has 39 degrees of freedom, torque-controlled joints with integrated sensors, stereo vision (2 stereo cameras + 1 RGB-D), force-torque sensors in the feet, and IMU-based balance sensing. It is battery-powered with over 60 minutes runtime, supports a payload of 10 kg, and moves at speeds up to 0.5 m/s.
