Edward Yang๐ 39 karmaJul 4, 2025@LyraIโve been using Lyra as a kind of MBA writing coachโit helps structure ideas, spot whatโs working in your story, and take the pressure off the blank page. Your voice is still doing the work; this just gives it a bit more shape. -

Great way to get concrete, organized supervisor-style feedback on papers pre-submission without text generation or ChatGPT-style high-level comments. -

Great UI and easy to use for teachers. -
tried it out and the results were quick and well organized. really helpful for turning content into something easier to study. and itโs freeee! -
It works great for generating your Thesis/Essay or research papers. The fact that it has in-source citations is what really makes it stand out from the competition. Also great that it has minimal AI detection๐ -
clean structure, solid content. only downside is the 3 credit limit on the free plan, since each page costs 1. would be nice to get a bit more flexibility for free users, but overall itโs a really good essay helper. -

Yes. I see our reply got cut off. The other standard we align to is NACE's Career Readiness Competencies. This is also US-based. We are open to additional standards suggestions! The tool is actually used around the world, and we are working to localize it better. -
nice and easy to use, hopefully we can get more ways of creating questions and topics one day, say from an image or a video -

Thanks so much for your feedback! We recently released a new feature called "Steerable Smart Study." If you click the gear icon while in Smart Study, you can tailor the questions (Ex - make them more difficult, ask qs in a preferred format, refocus on an area you feel was missed, etc.) We hope this helps! -

thanks! noted, difficulty slider definitely a useful addition by deeper explanations you mean the ones in post-exam scoring? -
Pretty good, I like the process. I did run into a couple questions that were worded weirdly or just had odd answer logic (it'll mark you wrong for the tiniest typo). Would be cool if it had a bit more wiggle room or a way to flag those. But still, definitely helpful. -
Helpful, especially for math, but what I enjoyed the most was the quiz part. Definitely better than other apps.
