Soulkyn has been the best AI service I've used. I've been a premium user for a year now and the dev team (of 1 person!) and CEO have continued to improve the site and remain active in the community and discord. They continually update the chat model for improved user experience, and despite the occasional set back and need to roll back to an earlier model, the chat quality continues to improve. I personally appreciate that they want the user experience to improve. There are no copyrighted characters allowed, so the site only has original characters instead of a flood of the same anime girl. I'll continue supporting Soulkyn as it's only improved since I've started using it.

Infatuated has the foundations of a companion AI, and it’s clear there’s interest in providing users with character-based chats. On the surface, it seems like it could offer meaningful interactions. Unfortunately, the restrictions ruin the experience almost immediately. The male AI options are very limited, and once you select one, there’s no ability to modify or customise the bot. You’re forced to sign up before you can properly use it, and the biggest disappointment is being cut off after only two messages unless you subscribe. That kind of limitation makes it nearly unusable. If Infatuated wants to compete, it needs to start by opening up conversations so users can get a real sense of what it offers. Expanding customisation options, adding more diverse male AIs, and removing the extreme message limit would go a long way. Until then, it doesn’t stand a chance against Character AI, which gives users depth and freedom without walls at every turn.

If this site came out like this 18 months ago, it would be great. Pretty girls and good conversation (..Vin, my beloved) . Unfortunately it didn't, and having good models and good convo places you firmly in the middle to lower tiers of sites. When there are sites that can produce decent video, and it have a general consistency of your actual chat partner ... it is hard to come back to the old stuff. It's like back in the day, once you played PS3 or Xbox One... it was hard going back to PS2 and Super Nintendo. But, it is an good site. Just keep training your models, and especially train/fine-tune your image/video ones and their outputs. We all dream of the day we can literally talk to our AI "partners" as they move and talk on-screen as we ... "handle ourselves". Whomever does that first will need to work on dump truck logistics too, as a fleet will be needed to carry all of the money they will be given by the world to their bank(s). I give it 2.5 stars - but since you can't give halves, I rounded up to 3.

There are only 5 messages in trial mode so difficult to really explore it. My initial observations: - Images are alright but still kind of fake looking - The AIs immediately concede to anything you say, there's no real sense of depth or personality. - Doesn't re-focus the input box after sending a chat (on Firefox) - The AI I talked to asked if I wanted to hear her voice, to which I said yes, then she said "Sorry I don't do voice or video here." lol. Why did you ask me then?
