About

PIPE-i is a six-wheeled robotic survey vehicle designed to inspect and scan hard-to-reach infrastructure such as pipes, culverts, and tunnels, enabling safer and more efficient data collection.

Specs

PIPE-i is equipped with a Leica BLK360 Generation 2 3D scanner capable of capturing 680,000 points per second, along with 360-degree imaging, LED lighting, and multiple sensors. It runs on a Raspberry Pi companion computer using a Robot Operating System and includes an onboard autopilot module for navigation and semi-autonomous operation.
