Quanta X1 is a general-purpose wheeled bimanual robot developed as an embodied intelligent research platform. Equipped with the WALL-A embodied foundation model, it integrates perception, reasoning, and manipulation within a unified AI framework for research, teleoperation, and cross-domain task generalization.
Specs
Quanta X1 features 20 whole-body DoF, including 6 DoF in the torso and lightweight arms with 620 mm reach and 1.5 kg single-arm payload. It supports 0–1 m vertical work range and uses a Mecanum-wheel omnidirectional chassis with speeds up to 1–2 m/s. The robot integrates multimodal teleoperation with 200 Hz force-feedback arm control, supports the WALL-A embodied foundation model, and includes multiple sensors such as 2D laser radar, IMU, and ultrasound. The end-effector options include a 2-DoF gripper or 20-DoF dexterous hand.
