It's pretty cool. There is a free plan/membership.That means that you get free 100 image credits every month that will refresh (on the date you created the account, not on every first of month). Seems to have relatively mild filters. Faces of celebs seem to be blocked. You can type in the name of a celeb and it will create a picture but the face will be a fragmented colorful mess. It has a in-painting function and you can enlarge the canvas (both are separate functions that will cost as much credits as the generation of an image. However it is possible to create NSFW images, if you're into that.

It's really frustrating when you try to select something you want, only to be immediately redirected to a subscription-based payment model. There's no opportunity to even test things out, which kills the enthusiasm right away. It seems like everything is geared towards subscriptions nowadays, and it's a turn-off. Companies should prioritize transparency and give customers a chance to try out products before committing to a subscription. OK, it says "FREE" and "NO Pricing," and yet some tools are available only to "Premium users?" If that's not misleading, I don't know what's "free" any longer! Oh, yes, the air, thank God, but maybe soon they'll start selling it as well ;-) THX
