Hey there! I've been using CodeKidz for my 10-year-old, and honestly, it's pretty cool. The storytelling and gamified lessons are a big hit. It's not just boring lines of code, you know? They've made Python coding fun and interactive, which is a massive win in my book.
The real-time code editor on the right side is a nice touch. My kid seems to enjoy the instant feedback, and it's helped her understand where she's going wrong and how to fix it. The AI coaching is a bit of a novelty too, it's like having a personal tutor.
But it's not all roses. The platform could do with a bit more content variety. After a while, the lessons can get a bit repetitive. Also, I think they could add more advanced modules for older kids. It's a great start for beginners, but there's not much to progress to.
Overall, though, I'd say CodeKidz is a pretty solid platform for introducing kids to coding. It's got a few kinks to iron out, but it's definitely worth a shot if you're trying to get your kid into programming.
