Mio – Your AI Phone Assistant
Overview
Mio is an AI phone assistant designed to handle both outgoing and incoming phone calls on behalf of the user. Users can instruct Mio on various tasks simply by texting the application, similar to messaging a friend.
Typical tasks include scheduling, rescheduling or cancelling appointments, along with confirming or rejecting incoming calls. Mio handles these tasks by engaging in real-time conversation, rather than relying on predetermined scripts.
The AI navigates through phone trees, waits on hold, and holds conversations with actual individuals. Additionally, Mio has the ability to handle conversations in over 70 different languages, offering broad international usability.
The user's identity is maintained during calls, with the user's caller ID appearing for outbound calls. After each interaction, Mio provides a succinct summary to the user, outlining the conversation's key points and subsequent necessary actions.
The AI also comes with the capacity to record frequently used contacts, preferences, and locations to enable streamlined future interactions. Users are also offered with a live status update so that they can stay informed about call progress.
Mio will be available on the App Store and can also be utilized via the web.

Mike Levi🙏 48 karmaApr 11, 2025@HateToCallI used the AI to cancel my flight, and it worked great! I wouldn’t use it for something that high-stakes, though, because the AI can hallucinate! -

The description above is outdated. The app has already an Android Version and that's what I am using currently.

Hi Mike, can you give me an email to reach out to you or chat with our chatbot and ask for support and tell us you left the comment here. We block cash app for our other products because of fraud but will make it work for you!

The AI Phone helped me a lot during my last short trip. I can use it to make international calls easily without getting a sim card. When making reservations at restaurants and asking for information about scenic spots, the functions of live call captioning, highlighting information and prompting terms make me, a non-native speaker, no longer afraid of conversation. Even after hanging up the phone, I can review the information without having to grab a pen to write it down. Imagine that after you make a phone call, all the key information, such as the location of the restaurant and the phone number of the contact, are saved and highlighted in the record. What a worry-free and magical experience it is!
