Anthropic says it improves on Opus 4.6 in advanced software engineering, handles complex long-running tasks with more rigor and self-verification, and also brings substantially better vision with higher-resolution image understanding. It is available across Claude products, the API, Amazon Bedrock, Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry, with pricing unchanged from Opus 4.6 at $5 per million input tokens and $25 per million output tokens.
