Kimi-K2.6 is Moonshot AI’s latest open multimodal agent model focused on practical autonomous work rather than simple chat. The Hugging Face card describes it as strong in end-to-end coding across languages and domains, able to turn prompts and visual inputs into production-ready interfaces and lightweight full-stack workflows, and capable of scaling to 300 sub-agents across 4,000 coordinated steps. It uses a 1T-parameter MoE design with 32B active parameters, 384 experts, a 256K context window, and a 400M-parameter MoonViT vision encoder, with native INT4 quantization support.
