The Tactile Mobile Robot features a modular mobile base with native Franka ecosystem compatibility, supporting seamless integration with Franka Research 3 and FR3 Duo setups. It offers 1 kHz real-time control via the Franka Control Interface (FCI), full ROS 2 integration, and supports demanding teleoperation and mobile manipulation research. The platform includes 2 lidars, 4 cameras, and 1 IMU, runs on an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, reaches a maximum speed of 1.75 m/s, operates for approximately 8 hours at 460 W, and supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity.
