Unitree A1 is a small to medium-sized intelligent quadruped robot designed for high-speed locomotion, visual perception, human following, and secondary development, featuring depth vision, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and industrial-grade joints for research and consumer applications.

Unitree A1 is an electric quadruped robot equipped with an intelligent depth camera system using active infrared stereo vision with a depth range of 0.3–10 meters and depth error under 2% within 2 meters. It supports real-time HD video transmission, visual SLAM, human recognition, gesture recognition, and dynamic obstacle avoidance. The robot features industrial-grade joints with maximum joint torque of 33.5 N·m, maximum joint speed of 21 rad/s, removable joints for maintenance, and integrated foot-end force sensors on all four legs. A1 supports secondary development via real-time APIs, offers multiple external interfaces (4× USB, 2× HDMI, 2× Ethernet), reaches a maximum continuous speed of 3.3 m/s, carries an effective payload of 5 kg, and operates for approximately 1–2.5 hours per charge.
