Unitree A2 is an industrial-grade quadruped robot designed for agile, high-endurance operations in logistics, industrial inspection, and emergency rescue, featuring heavy payload capability, dual-LiDAR perception, hot-swappable dual batteries, and optional wheel-leg configuration for complex terrains.

Unitree A2 is an industrial electric quadruped robot measuring approximately 820 × 440 × 570 mm when standing and weighing about 42 kg with batteries installed. It features 12 degrees of freedom driven by low-inertia inner-rotor PMSM joint motors delivering peak torque of approximately 180 N·m, supported by industrial-grade crossed roller bearings. The robot uses a dual-battery system (up to 18,000 mAh / 907.2 Wh) with hot-swapping capability, enabling over 5 hours of unloaded continuous walking (~20 km) or over 3 hours with a 25 kg load (~12.5 km). Perception includes up to two industrial LiDAR units and an HD camera, while onboard computing combines an 8-core platform CPU with Intel Core i7 for user development, with optional high-compute expansion. A2 supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, OTA upgrades, secondary development, optional wheel-leg replacement, and operates in temperatures from −20 °C to 55 °C with ingress protection rated IP56 to IP67 on core components.
