Jacob🛠️ 5 tools 🙏 33 karmaNov 17, 2025@DatePhotos.AIHey, I'm Jacob. Indie developer, built a few AI products. My friend complained about no matches on Tinder. His photos were terrible - bad lighting, messy backgrounds, awkward angles. "Get better photos." "Photographers are expensive and it's weird doing a photoshoot for dating apps." He was right. What I built Spent 2 weeks building this with Stable Diffusion and Claude. Upload 10-15 photos, generates 80-180 dating photos in ~20 minutes. The tricky part: making them look real, not AI-generated. Most AI headshot tools optimize for LinkedIn. Dating photos need to feel natural. Optimized specifically for Tinder, Bumble & Hinge - each platform has different vibes. Added a "realness score" to filter out obvious AI stuff. Current issues - Hands are still weird sometimes - Some photos don't quite look like you - Background inconsistencies Tested with ~40 people. Most said it helped. Some photos were off. Why I'm posting Not sure if this is actually useful or just solving my friend's specific problem. If people care, I'll keep improving it. If not, learned a lot anyway. Link: https://datephotos.ai/ -
Hey Jack, fair question! The AI is the "Wingman" feature inside the video call. Instead of transcribing the audio (which would violate our privacy policy), the AI is an on-demand agent powered by GPT-4o. You toggle modes like 'Roast' or 'Spicy', and it generates context-aware conversation cards to save the date if things get awkward. We prioritized user privacy over an 'always-listening' AI assistant. Give the Roast mode a try—it's pretty ruthless!

I've been exploring AI for quite some time, and it's been a true lifesaver for my severe ADHD. Finding the perfect calendar, task, and habit-tracking app that uses AI to intelligently schedule tasks with minimal interaction has been a quest. Day Flow is the closest I've found to my ideal solution. It's not perfect, but it's really good and incredibly helpful.

If users feel “organized” but don’t get outcomes, you’re a churn machine -> ~20–30% lost retention revenue. Do users actually improve output, or just manage tasks?
