I'm a premium Deluxe user. The scope and flexiblity of Soulkyn is amazing imo. It can leave a poor initial impression if you're inexperienced with it or if it's going through updates that need tweaking. This is it's biggest weakness at the moment as it's in beta. However, when it's at its best, it's phenomenal. You will get the best out of it if you dig deeper into whatever aspects of it interest you by joining the discord. It delivers natural dialogue, clean formatting, coherent story progression, and balanced NSFW pacing. It follows your lead, keeps the pace you set, and is especially good at slow-burn roleplay without rushing the scene. Gem 2.6 shines with: Everyday roleplay and casual stories Natural, character-true dialogue Single-character scenarios Simple-to-medium character setups Slow-burn and balanced NSFW progression It also handles a wide range of characters well, even ones that are not perfectly written. It has a strong ability to take a rough character setup and turn it into something fun, usable, and immersive. That said, Gem 2.6 is still a lite model. It may struggle with complex multi-character scenes, very deep lore, long-term memory, and multilingual chats. The model performs best in English. For those heavier use cases, our higher-end models will continue to offer stronger consistency, depth, and long-form performance. Gem 2.6 is available to everyone and will replace Nova. Nova will be sunset next week. ✅ Cut-Off Response Fix Update After fixing the cut-off response issue, we noticed another problem where some users were receiving a shorter final response instead of the full streamed response. This has now been fixed. You should now receive exactly what was streamed in chat. Google AI Studio is fully censored. Even the most basic NSFW query returns: "Content blocked" message. I found SmutGPT to be perfect because all the content is unrestricted there, no guardrails. On top of it, the generation quality of SmutGPT is like miles better than the free Google models

The site feels polished and easy to navigate, which makes it comfortable to use for longer sessions. Chat responses are generally natural, and the roleplay holds up better than I expected. it’s a cool tool if you wanna chat with made up characters or build your own. works fine and feels fun. the ui could def be better organized. alsooo letting people upload any pic for their characters makes things kinda messy, some look 🔥, some are like 144p pics. would be sick if they added a 'generate image' button that uses your character's description or lets you write one for it.

Fantasy AI gets a small nod for its concept, themed characters with fantasy-inspired personalities have real potential if executed well. Unfortunately, that potential is quickly wasted. The 240-character text limit makes real conversation impossible, there’s no calling function, and users can’t adjust or input memories for continuity. The male and female character selection is painfully limited, and all characters are straight; something users should know before jumping in. After a handful of messages, you’re forced to upgrade and pay, which kills the experience before it even starts. If Fantasy AI wants to be taken seriously in the companionship AI space, it needs to extend message length, introduce inclusive character options, add memory input, and unlock a calling feature. Right now, it doesn’t come close to what Character AI delivers in realism, diversity, or depth.
