Gem 2.6 shines with: Everyday roleplay and casual stories Natural, character-true dialogue Single-character scenarios Simple-to-medium character setups Slow-burn and balanced NSFW progression It also handles a wide range of characters well, even ones that are not perfectly written. It has a strong ability to take a rough character setup and turn it into something fun, usable, and immersive. That said, Gem 2.6 is still a lite model. It may struggle with complex multi-character scenes, very deep lore, long-term memory, and multilingual chats. The model performs best in English. Google AI Studio is fully censored. Even the most basic NSFW query returns: "Content blocked" message. I found SmutGPT to be perfect because all the content is unrestricted there, no guardrails. On top of it, the generation quality of SmutGPT is like miles better than the free Google models

it’s a cool tool if you wanna chat with made up characters or build your own. works fine and feels fun. the ui could def be better organized. alsooo letting people upload any pic for their characters makes things kinda messy, some look 🔥, some are like 144p pics. would be sick if they added a 'generate image' button that uses your character's description or lets you write one for it.

Hi Tealgreen, appreciate the honest feedback. Just to clarify — if you register for free you actually get 10 free messages with each character, so you can try them out a bit more. You can also just use Flirtcam.ai as a regular chat experience like the other AI girlfriend sites, plus it comes with custom AI image generation. The video cam part is more of an extra layer / other UX — you can switch into it whenever you want. We know the video side is still early in development and possibilities, but on a bigger screen it already feels way more personal than plain text chat.
