Justin Dwyer🙏 6 karmaJun 21, 2024@Image GenIt clearly states that you need to use Google Colab or your own server. However, I totally agree that the claim of unlimited image generation is misleading. There should be an app for mobile devices and PCs. I bought this on the first day with high expectations, and I was very disappointed. I ended up creating my own setup on Colab, and I’m moving it to a local software build that doesn’t depend on VMs.

Google Imagen has been a pleasant surprise for clean work (icons, stickers)!!! Loads of style options and it nails tidy lines, soft shading and punchy color without much prompt fuss. GREAT TOOL!!

It's pretty cool. There is a free plan/membership.That means that you get free 100 image credits every month that will refresh (on the date you created the account, not on every first of month). Seems to have relatively mild filters. Faces of celebs seem to be blocked. You can type in the name of a celeb and it will create a picture but the face will be a fragmented colorful mess. It has a in-painting function and you can enlarge the canvas (both are separate functions that will cost as much credits as the generation of an image. However it is possible to create NSFW images, if you're into that.

It works, but the similarity is average. It would be helpful to have an option to add several photos as references that the AI could actually use to generate our portrait.

I was able to make a few images for free that closely matched what I was looking for. I will use them for YouTube thumbnails.

Un desastre!!! No hay p... prompt que le venga bien, todos tienen (según este desastre de app) palabras prohibidas, tien cac. en la cabeza.

Annoying... apparently some words or phrases are blacklisted and you get a message saying to change the prompt and try again but not what part of the prompt was a problem, a on top of that the prompt has been replaced with their standard random nonsense so you have to start over inside of editing your input
