OpenI played around with PodScribe.IO for just 5 minutes, and it helped me save at least 35 minutes when transcribing my first podcast (for free - have not subscribed to the paid version yet). That's pretty sweet! The way it presents and separates podcast data into different formats is really well done. It makes it super easy to find what you're looking for. -

We built this for us, and if other people want to use it, so be it, but I’m not going to try and sell on why one should use or buy it. Judging by the sign-ups and upgrades, it looks like more people are finding it useful. You are right about #1 and that line does sound a bit dishonest and salesy - which was unintentional so I’m changing that. It was very real though and we carefully baked in tiny little details for our upgraded users. For eg, we have invited most of our upgraded users to try the mobile apps’ TestFlight version.

Hey this is Tan, I'm the creator of NotesBot. I created this tool because I needed it for my own meetings. After using myself and getting great summarization reviews from my peers, I decided to release it to the public. After release, we realized people were also using it for Dungeons and Dragons, I then added a DnD mode. This tool is non-invasive, very easy to set up, and perfect for meetings. I paid 10.00 and on the same day I cancelled my subscription. After providing me with a summary of a specific book, it also gives me the 10 main quotes from the book. I purchased the book from Kindle, so I tried to match the quotes given by booknotes with the Kindle book, and none of the quotes are on the book. In other words, booknotes created the quotes... If the quotes are fabricated by AI, what else in the summary is also not accurate? I still want to give this site the benefit that they will get it right, but right now, I cannot recommend it as a reliable tool.

What's new about this app? Apple's Notes app does a similar task and it's totally free with unlimited audio

Been using it for the past few days and it is exactly what I hoped it was. Nothing complicated, does exactly what it says it does without the fluff. The analysis section is great, does not produce canned summaries. It appears to be doing something different for every different type of topic, which is great. Still playing with it.
