the free experience feels a bit restrictive, and some limits aren't always clearly communicated. I'd also like to see improvements in AI consistency and overall accessibility. but i still I enjoy some of the unique features this platform offers,👍

FunFun positions itself as a companion AI platform, and on the surface, it seems designed to give users an easy way to connect. Unfortunately, it falls short almost immediately. The biggest limitation is that it only offers female characters, which cuts off half the audience right away. On top of that, you’re forced to sign up before you can even try it out, adding unnecessary friction to an already limited experience. If FunFun wants to grow, it needs to add male options to make the platform inclusive and remove barriers like mandatory sign-up so users can test it first. Right now, compared with Character AI, FunFun doesn’t come close to offering the variety or accessibility needed to stand out.

No filters and no search function if you want to look for a specific personality type or anything of the sort. The ability to add additional context to a chat is nice and works seamlessly as far as I can tell but the problem is it's not just a nice bonus. It's practically necessary for one very simple reason. If you don't use it to explicitly tell the bot what language to speak in it will just pick, seemingly at random. And switch from that to English and back.. also at random. There is no indication anywhere of what language a bot is supposed to be speaking. The ability to use for free is nice but not exactly unique and there is no indication if it's limited and how much use you have available. Decent idea. Really poor execution.

NSFW image generation works very well. Video generation is limited to 4s though. I hope they remove this limitation soon! I tried candy ai and soulfun, funfun is much better IMO
