I understand why people are frustrated, especially if the replies feel robotic or the moderation feels too restrictive. At the same time, I think there’s still potential here if the team listens to feedback and focuses on better memory, more natural conversations, and fairer pricing. The idea is good, but the execution needs work.

Honestly, this is a solid start. The characters are fun, the image generation is a nice touch, and the call features make it feel more interactive than a basic chatbot. I also appreciate that the site seems to get regular updates. If memory and conversation depth keep improving, this could become one of the better AI companion options.

Glad the google signup issue is fixed and the landing page is running better. I’ll try it again. I still think ChatReal has room to improve, especially with conversation depth and memory, but it’s promising to see quick updates and active support.

I’ve tried a few AI companion apps, and the main difference here is the balance between quick setup and customization. It’s easy to start, but still gives enough room to shape the interaction. I think the biggest improvement would be better memory across longer chats, because that’s what makes these apps feel more personal over time.
