You have the option to waitlist or you can login with your email/pass or google account. I chose google. Once inside you have a suite of tools but im sure when you go to publish you have to sign up for a paid plan. So if your looking for a free option it will be branded. Use at your own risk. Thanks

It created animals with more than 4 legs and multiple animals when I asked for one. Sometimes you have to run it a few times with the same prompt to get something usable, but even then it probably won't be what you are thinking in your head. That being said, I think it is a good start, and for kids that just want to color something for free, it's cool to play with. It is definitely not the same quality as even the lower-end HuggingFace Stable Diffusion projects.

What's new: Nano Banana Pro — A new premium option we added with higher resolution (4K) and advanced features (requires subscription) The free version is still available on the homepage under the "Nano Banana" tab. You can use it for free. We added Pro as an optional upgrade for users who want higher quality outputs. I hope this clears things up, and thank you for using our service!

It clearly states that you need to use Google Colab or your own server. However, I totally agree that the claim of unlimited image generation is misleading. There should be an app for mobile devices and PCs. I bought this on the first day with high expectations, and I was very disappointed. I ended up creating my own setup on Colab, and I’m moving it to a local software build that doesn’t depend on VMs.

I run a small online store and used to rely on stock photos for product mockups and promotional images. The problem was that they never quite fit what I needed. No free use because I use a VPN?? I'm out. I should have a choice to stay private if I want to and still be able to review the product without penalty. Others allow it - I will use them before buying. If you have that big of an issue with what you feel are multiple accounts using your free services, then reduce the amount of free use.
