Anthony Marc🙏 5 karmaAug 12, 2023@EbankKind of ridiculous. Let's you generate one image and then you have to pay to sign up. With all the free tools out there that give you a couple dozen images per day, this is simply not helpful. -
Impressed with this, my youngest loves it. The images in the stories can come out in different styles but you can regenerate the ones you don't like.

Ooh. this tickles my nerd side. I already created our next BBEG, it will help so much with making custom DnD campaigns. Thank you!!

Without any demo, it prompts you to pay to use it. However, even after you pay for it, it keeps taking you to the payment page whenever you try to do anything on the site. It just has two pages, the empty projects page, and the payment page.

DreamTavern does at least give users some room to try the service out, with 75 free daily messages before hitting the subscription wall. That’s more generous than many competitors. But the cracks show quickly. There’s no calling function, and the subscription model $9.99 per month for unlimited messages—feels too barebones for the price. The platform also lacks proper tagging for models, making discovery awkward, and the limited male variety makes it feel unbalanced for users seeking more options. To improve, DreamTavern should expand its male character selection, refine its model tagging, and add immersive features like calling. Compared with Character AI, which offers depth, diversity, and memory, DreamTavern still feels half-baked.
