Soulkyn has been the best AI service I've used. I've been a premium user for a year now and the dev team (of 1 person!) and CEO have continued to improve the site and remain active in the community and discord. They continually update the chat model for improved user experience, and despite the occasional set back and need to roll back to an earlier model, the chat quality continues to improve. I personally appreciate that they want the user experience to improve. There are no copyrighted characters allowed, so the site only has original characters instead of a flood of the same anime girl. I'll continue supporting Soulkyn as it's only improved since I've started using it. -

Google AI Studio is fully censored. Even the most basic NSFW query returns: "Content blocked" message. I found SmutGPT to be perfect because all the content is unrestricted there, no guardrails. On top of it, the generation quality of SmutGPT is like miles better than the free Google models

The site feels polished and easy to navigate, which makes it comfortable to use for longer sessions. Chat responses are generally natural, and the roleplay holds up better than I expected. it’s a cool tool if you wanna chat with made up characters or build your own. works fine and feels fun. the ui could def be better organized. alsooo letting people upload any pic for their characters makes things kinda messy, some look 🔥, some are like 144p pics. would be sick if they added a 'generate image' button that uses your character's description or lets you write one for it.

Fantasy AI gets a small nod for its concept, themed characters with fantasy-inspired personalities have real potential if executed well. Unfortunately, that potential is quickly wasted. The 240-character text limit makes real conversation impossible, there’s no calling function, and users can’t adjust or input memories for continuity. The male and female character selection is painfully limited, and all characters are straight; something users should know before jumping in. After a handful of messages, you’re forced to upgrade and pay, which kills the experience before it even starts. If Fantasy AI wants to be taken seriously in the companionship AI space, it needs to extend message length, introduce inclusive character options, add memory input, and unlock a calling feature. Right now, it doesn’t come close to what Character AI delivers in realism, diversity, or depth.
