And create girls, get to see one picture. The chat seems pretty lifeless but I guess you have to pay for anything good here to start with so makes some sense. Still as a teaser, if the free part doesn't pull you in, you are left with an empty feeling about the site. Like, I caught myself responding out loud a few times. Also, the images add a whole extra layer that makes the experience feel less like just chatting and more like… something else. Not gonna lie, I came in just to see what it was about, and now I’m way too invested.

Unfortunately, that potential is quickly wasted. The 240-character text limit makes real conversation impossible, there’s no calling function, and users can’t adjust or input memories for continuity. The male and female character selection is painfully limited, and all characters are straight; something users should know before jumping in. After a handful of messages, you’re forced to upgrade and pay, which kills the experience before it even starts. If Fantasy AI wants to be taken seriously in the companionship AI space, it needs to extend message length, introduce inclusive character options, add memory input, and unlock a calling feature. Right now, it doesn’t come close to what Character AI delivers in realism, diversity, or depth.

I've been a premium user for a year now and the dev team (of 1 person!) and CEO have continued to improve the site and remain active in the community and discord. They continually update the chat model for improved user experience, and despite the occasional set back and need to roll back to an earlier model, the chat quality continues to improve. I personally appreciate that they want the user experience to improve. There are no copyrighted characters allowed, so the site only has original characters instead of a flood of the same anime girl. I'll continue supporting Soulkyn as it's only improved since I've started using it.

I found SmutGPT to be perfect because all the content is unrestricted there, no guardrails. On top of it, the generation quality of SmutGPT is like miles better than the free Google models

The characters have bad memories and repeat the same things even if they did the exact thing a minute ago. Plus, the image generation does not produce images of the right character. And also, at this point, with the myriad free text to speech projects with good quality, text to voice should be standard, yet here it is missing. I will be happy to change my rating if you update this app to work better.
