ScamCheck Grok v5.2 tells you whether the message in front of you is a scam, before you reply, click, or send money. Free with your xAI API key. Upload a photo or screenshot, or capture one with the live camera, and you get a Scam Analysis Report naming the fraud family, saying whether the contact was solicited, placing you in the scheme's sequence, and telling you what is at risk including whether money already sent can be recovered. It recognizes eighteen types of scam, from phishing and mail fraud to romance and long-game investment fraud, tech support popups, cloned voices asking for bail, advance fee loans, and free dinner seminars that end in an annuity. Version 5.2 moves the engine to Grok 4.5 with native vision at full reasoning effort, replacing a model xAI has since retired, and the cost shown on your report now matches what xAI actually bills: the old figure was calculated on the retired model's rates and understated the true cost several times over. Scan cost and tokens now sit at the top of the report as large labelled figures and travel with the exported PDF instead of being lost on the way out. This edition reads images only, and a PDF is now refused outright rather than partly read, because a document the model never saw should not produce a confident verdict; screenshot the page instead. Now with full multilingual support: run ScamCheck in English, German, or any language your browser displays, and the underlying models read text in 100+ languages, so the report can be read in your own. A scan costs about 2 cents in API usage, the lowest of any Iacoletti Software tool, with no subscription required. It runs entirely in your browser with no install needed.

Can’t say the app is that bad. It might take a bit of time to get used to, but based on my experience, it produced some good results. I'd say it's worth giving it another chance. Have fun!

i love it i use it to teach me Italian and ukranian and programing ! and it awesome , because it allows you in the free version send many prints of your screen , not having to explain all the errors by typing diferent from gpt that you can only send 3 photos in the free version. i also use grok to study i frist make the exercise in my book then i take a photo of my exercise then i ask it to see if there is any mistake and dissipate my terryble handwriting it understands

Feels illegal to be this early, quick run with Grok Imagine: great for teaser bits. The image-to-video pass holds up for shorts ~6s loops with decent motion and sound sync. Style range is solid. Access sits behind the Grok sub on mobile, so not fully free and I’d love longer clips!
