Overview

Doppl is an experimental virtual styling app from Google Labs that lets you try on outfits using generative AI. Designed for fashion discovery and self-expression, Doppl allows you to upload a full-body photo and instantly visualize how different outfits might look on you. You can also use pre-made AI models to experiment before uploading your own image.

After setting your style preferences and selecting starter outfits, Doppl generates personalized looks tailored to your taste. You can upload outfit photos, capture inspiration in real time, and explore the Discovery Feed, which adapts based on your quiz answers and in-app activity. Once you find a look you love, you can animate it into a short video, download it, or share it on social media.

Currently available in the U.S. for users 18+, Doppl supports tops, bottoms, and dresses, with plans to expand categories. It uses SynthID to embed invisible watermarks in generated content and allows users to manage or delete their data at any time.

As an experimental AI tool, Doppl may occasionally generate visual inaccuracies, especially with fit, body details, or missing outfit elements.
